Balloons Over Calgary by Rainbow Balloons has been flying Calgary and international skies since 1979. We are a Calgary based company.

It is a family business that began as an anniversary gift from the kids. It was so much fun we bought our own balloon and started our business. This was back at almost the start of ballooning in Alberta.

Over the years many of our balloons have flown out of the stampede grounds and over the Calgary Stampede Parade. We have participated and even won a few balloon races across Canada, the United States, Australia and Africa. We have even crewed for international balloons breaking world records.

Our pilots have over 1,000 hours of flying time each and are amazing to watch! They are also full of interesting information that gives your flight an extra dimension.

Our goal is to give you the same wonderful experience we had back in 1979, at the birth of ballooning in Calgary.
